I bought the same thing from Hobby Lobby... it didn't work. But being an electrical whiz, what I did was jury-rig it. I pulled the rubber pads off the bottom with some needle nose pliers, unscrewed the four screws hidden underneath, and soldered the wires straight from the wall-wart power plug to the motor. I threw the little non-functional control board in the trash. I mean the thing has to run for three or four days, do you really need a digital timer to control that? Just pull the plug to turn it off. I lost the dome-off safety feature, but so what. If you still want the safety feature (I am NOT stating in any way that you don't need it), soldering from the plug through the safety switches is no big deal. If you know someone who can solder the fix it goes pretty quick. Also, while they are in there, they may want to use some slightly larger wire... the first night I left it running, the original tiny crap wire they use broke on me so I had to open it back up and change the wire. Good luck.
By the way, I've only had the thing for a few days, my star ratings above are really meaningless.
