i am a college student and have always been fascinated with these! i've been very interested in aquariums and marine life. sea monkeys are fun and act as a very cool and interesting first pet for anyone. i bought this as a fun gift for a friend who wanted a pet, but isn't really allowed to have pets because of regulations in his apartment building.
Description of Sea-Monkeys - Magic Castle
The lid of this water-world style aquarium is a magnifier, allowing close-up views of the amazing creatures as they glide through the castle. A most noble home for your kings and queens of the sea! Comes with 4 pouches: #1 Water Purifier, #2 Instant Live Eggs, #3 Growth Food, #4 Plasma III, instruction sheet, feeding spoon and an Aqua-Leash.The Magic Castle Aquarium is small enough to hold in your hand, but large enough to provide shelter for a village of sea-monkeys. It all starts with a packet of dehydrated sea-monkey eggs. Once a home has been prepared, stir in the eggs and watch them hatch right before your eyes. Their home is actually an underwater castle at the base of a clear container to which you add pure bottled or boiled water. Air holes at the rim of the container keep the water oxygenated. The set also comes with a water purifier, sea-monkey food, Amazing Plasma III (no one knows quite what that is), a measuring spoon, a large droplet for agitating the water, a magnifying lid, and more. These sea-monkeys are guaranteed to live at least two years, if properly cared for. The set is supplemented with a detailed instruction pamphlet and an order form for the 32-page Official Sea-Monkey Handbook on the box.
