I read the reviews and bought anyway. Well reviews on this are correct. I bought this for my granddaughter for a trip to Florida. We took this with us for first trip to the beach and did not bring back. Unless water is completely still it is impossible to hold and focus in the water.You could not see fish,shells, anything that I had hoped we could.OK as a toy for younger children to carry around. Therefore a less expensive version would suffice.
