Customer Review: Sea Monkeys Are Fun and Delicate.

My first experience with Sea Monkeys was disastrous. They all died. So, I went back and read all of the instructions over again, and ordered a replacement set. More tips can be found online. There is a whole book dedicated to Sea Monkeys. Sea Monkeys take patience and care. I made sure to wait more than 24 hours to put the Sea Monkeys (package two) in the aquarium after using the water purifier. I bought a small thermometer for the aquarium. I don't have the Million Bubble Air Pump yet; so I use the "Leash" a few times a day. So far, so good. After four days, just about all the eggs are hatched, and they are doing great. I fed them after 4 days; because there are so many and the water was clear. I bought distilled water. I "washed" everything under very hot running water and rinsed in distilled water, not using any soap or anything. I used distilled water for the aquarium. I followed instructions. I read info on Sea Monkey sites. I ordered another Sea Monkey kit, and more supplies. I am thinking of starting a one gallon aquarium of Sea Monkeys,

I had sea monkeys as a kid and it was my older sister that introduced them to me. I think the largest downfall for me was having to wait a full 24 hours (at least) to purify the water before hatching the eggs.
It's been about ten years at least since I had my first sea monkey set and I just bought this magic castle set as well as a hang ten set from a local Toys R US store this past week. I would have to say that the magic castle design is better than the hang ten in my opinion because it's more magnified due to the overall shape. Also, I prefer a smaller opening [...] I'm very happy with the purchase.
The eggs have hatched for me all three times that I have purchased these kits. I've never had a problem with that. I believe the first set I had gave me sea monkeys for about a year which is terrific and they're so low maintenance for a "pet". I highly recommend them.

I never knew I could love shrimp so much. They are adorable! I read other reviews saying they were ugly, and I don't know what they mean, but mine are growing up differently! They look like tiny little shrimp, not those cute things with legs sticking out of the sides. Mine must be more fairy shrimp than brine shrimp, because their tails are curled like the shrimp you eat. I think they are a sucess! I don't care what they look like,though. They're my babies. Anyway, it's the most increadible thing I've ever seen. Tiny life-less specks turned into teeny, tiny white cones with stubby legs. Yes, they look like icecream cones,and boy are they attracted to in-direct sunlight! If you love teeny,precous,cute,sweet,active,amazing seamonkeys, buy this! I'm a tough critic and I already give it a billion stars.

My sea-monkeys are my pride and joy. I have 23 of them and they all live in a custom made tank. I feed them their regular food and every other week a place a peeled grape into the tank too. The grape has a vitamin called Nortinic-Hiblon that increases the monkeys' eyesight and muscle strength. I also place some toys in the tank to exersize them too. These toys include: a plastic castle, a golf ball, sea salts, and rocks. I began getting into Sea-Monkeys about 17 years ago. Ever since, I just love them. Here are some facts about sea-monkeys: 1. sea-monkeys are a type of shrimp related to the Brine shrimp.
2. although many think they smell, the monkeys actually are odor-free and very clean.
3...Sea-monkeys are the best pet for ANYONE! My motto is:
"Art though how thy would be without thy sea-monkey!"

I had Sea Monkeys as a child and loved raising them! Now, an adult, I discovered the Sea Monkeys Magic Caste on the internet! I had to have it as soon as I saw it! It is a great little kit! It comes with the aquarium and everything you need to get started. The aquarium is small but it is total fun - even for a crazy adult like me. When I told one of my co-workers about the castle she nearly screamed and had to get one too! All around it is enjoyable and it can be very educational for the kids too! Children can learn about different life cycles and how an animal like Sea Monkeys can hatch from a packet of dried crystals. This kit is a must for all Sea Monkey lovers and anyone who just wants to have fun and feel like a kid again!
