I'm just a beginning juggler and was interested in trying clubs. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and was hoping to get a product that allowed me to see how I liked clubs. I think they did a great job at doing that. They are essentially a molded, hollow plastic with what looks like black electrical tape on the handles. The ones I received were as pictured with the black flames covering most of the club.
I give the product 4 stars, because although they are exactly what I was looking for, they are on the cheap side...a couple hits on the ground (ie grass) and the black paint starts chipping. Also, the black tape on the handles quickly starts to peel, I just press it back down.
In the end, they are perfect for my purpose.
