Customer Review: Wonderful first kitchen

I bought this kitchen for my 9 month old daughter and she loves it! She loves to sit in front of it and open the doors on it. She also likes the sounds that it makes. She sits in front of it and will play with it for quite a while. We also have the nesting pots and she uses those with it. I agree with one of the other reviewers that it does tip easily if pushed against and should be braced against something to be on the safe side for babies. I would recommend that the age range of the toy be changed from 9-36 months to 9-24 months. 2 year olds usually want to play with a kitchen they can stand at that is bigger. This is a wonderful toy and I also bought the Discovery workshop for my friends 9 month old son and he loves it!Customer Review: A Decent "First" Kitchen

Overall this is a decent purchase. My daughter received it for Christmas and has played with it more than any other toy she received, including more expensive LeapFrog toys. The shape sorter is her favorite part but it is poorly designed in that all the shapes fit into the round hole so she's learned nothing. She can't open the door to the stove or the microwave which has produced crying. The phone won't stay in it's little holder and it would be more fun with a curly cord which is her favorite part of the real phone. The whole thing tips over very easily so it's in a corner of the room where she can't get hurt if it falls over with her. Again, it's a decent purchase but not really worth $... in my opinion.Customer Review: My daughter loves it!

My daughter just received this for her first birthday. I was originally going to get it for her myself but thought it was kind of small. BUT- She loves it. She didn't want to leave it alone to move on to other presents. It is a little small but perfect for her to sit in front of and play. and the fridge opens and closes so she feels special being able to actually " get into" something. She likes playing with the pots and spoons. and loves that it makes sounds while "cooking"! She will definitely outgrow it but for now it gives her lots of fun and she has other toys she can stand and play with.All in all- I am glad she received this as a gift-it's not big and bulky and she loves it!

We love this kitchen! It's really great for babies! My daughter got this for her first birthday and I wish we had gotten it sooner so she could have used it longer! She would sit and play with the dishes and the shapes and the sounds would make her laugh. As she got older throughout the year and a half it became more like a kitchen and she would cook for us and for her stuffed animals. It provided hours of entertainment! For Christmas when she was 2 and a half, we finally retired it to the attic and Santa brought her a big girl kitchen that she can stand at! This toy is a MUST have! It's great because it sits right up against the wall, doesn't take up too much room! It just has so much to do!Customer Review: One of my daughter's favorites

This toy was bought for my daughter for her first Christmas (She was 8 months old). It was her favorite toy from the beginning. At first she would open and close the doors on the refrigerator and microwave. She was fascinated with how they opened and shut. A little while later she was opening a door, putting the pot or pan (or another accessory) inside and then closing the door. Then she would take it out. Then she started figuring out how to use the shape sorter on the icemaker. I was amazed at how quickly she learned to use the shape sorter.It is very small and probably would not be that great over the age of 2. According to my daughter, it is a wonderful toy for 8 months - 1 year.
