Customer Review: Mommy's little helper
Summary: 5 Stars

Around the time that my daughter turned 1 years old, it was hard to find a toy that kept her constant attention. She loves to go into the kitchen. She loves to pretend she is already a "Big" girl. I didn't want anything too big because we do not have that much space for so many toys. I wanted something we could fit in our bedroom that would keep her busy while we got ready.

She loves her kitchen. She loves the noises and ice dispenser. She pretends to make food with her pretend food I bought her to go along with her kitchen. It has been a great educational and entertaining toy. It has definitely been worth the money. There are no pieces that could pose a danger for her. The colors attract her and it was simple enough for her to use.

Customer Review: I hope my daughter likes it more when she is older!
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought this for my daughter shortly after she turned a year old..At first she would sit for long periods of time putting the shapes in the holes, pushing the button, and doing it all over again. She opened the fridge occasionally, but is not interested at all in the noises the pots and pans make on the burners etc..It might just be my daugher, but it does not seem to hold her attention at all. I show it to her now and she walks away. I hope when she is older and has use of an imagination, that she can pretent to cook, etc..Wish I could have bought the shape thing by itself, since that is all she seems interested in. I would save my money for a bigger, more functional play kitchen when your children are starting to "role play" etc.

Customer Review: FUN for smaller tots
Summary: 4 Stars

My daughter received this for her first birthday and really took to it. It has been great for her to learn to push the buttons and hear the sounds it can make. She loves opening and closing the refrig door and making the ice cubes fall out. The only downside to this toy is it is small. GREAT for those that are sitting up and/or almost walking (or newly walking). But now that my daughter is walking she isn't as interested in it. It does fall over pretty easily. This is a pros/cons review (in my opinion) for the toy. $30 isn't a bad price for a "noise" maker toy. She got several months of fun play usage out of it and learned about cause and effect. Would I buy it again? Sure, but probably for a 6-9 month old versus a 12 month old.

Customer Review: a big hit!
Summary: 5 Stars

The in-laws bought my 18 month old daughter piles of toys in one shopping trip during their visit, and out of countless different toys this one came out on top! She played with it for a couple hours as soon as it was assembled, which is more than you can ever expect out of the toddler attention span. She still loves it. We bought a set of play food and dishes, so she can put food in the compartments and the pot and pan. My only complaint is that the phone is useless, it doesn't stay on. It just pops off. That's a disappointment, but a small one that only bothers me. She has just as much fun with this kitchen. I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially those whose toddlers take an interest in what you do in the REAL kitchen :)

Customer Review: Cooking Up a Storm
Summary: 4 Stars

This is a great first kitchen for a child. My daughter received this kitchen for Christmas when she was 10 months old. She has a great time playing with it. It is very durable. I agree with other reviewers that it tips over easily; however, it is so light weight that it is not a problem. The good part of it tipping over is that the back is like the inside of a refrigerator and my daughter loves to listen to me point out and name the foods. My only complaint about this toy is the shape sorter. Any of the shapes fit into all of the holes. The circle shape really allows for the other shapes to go through it. As a shape sorter, this toy fails. Otherwise, it is a great toy and worth the price for a first kitchen for toddlers.
