Customer Review: My daughter enjoys it.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my 9 yr old daughter, and she seems to really enjoy it. The 'lightup' feature is kind of slick (although just a gimmick), and it seems to be able to transfer music CDs from the computer to the player no problem. We also purchased a Hannah album (on SD card) and it plays no problem.
A few things to point out however - 1) the earphones that come with it are very mediocre in quality, so I recommend you buy a separate (better) pair, unless your child's so young they can't tell the difference, or they tend to lose/break things easily. 2) the player froze suddenly and wouldn't do anything, despite the "on" light being on. There is a tiny hole on the side of the player, that evidently is a reset button - when we inserted a pin inside the hole the player started working normal again. However, there's no mention of this in the instruction manual....it's just a hunch we relied on, and it worked. If it wouldn't have, we would have returned it for an exchange. 3) The Disney Mix software that comes with it isn't really necessary to transfer files onto the player. You can use Windows to do that. Also the software seems a bit buggy (besides trying to lure you to purchase more stuff from Disney).
