Toys and Games Reviews of Wobble Deck

Customer Review: Great toy for teaching balance & coordination
Summary: 5 Stars

Bought this as a Christmas gift for our 7-year-old son and he seems to enjoy playing it a lot. He doesn't have good balance, so this toy will hopefully help him to develop better balance and coordination. It's more motivating than a plain balance board as there are games and challenges. My 12-year-old daughter also likes to use it. Quality seems good. The only downfall is that it has a weight limit of 100 pounds, so we adults can't try it. It looks like a lot of fun and much better than video games or other toys that allow kids to be couch potatoes!

Customer Review: Fun for varied ages and abilities
Summary: 4 Stars

I have an athletic 9 year old and a clumsy 7 year old - both love this toy. It wasn't on any Christmas list but, when I saw it, I thought it could be fun on snowy or really cold days when outside might not be great. They were a little hesitant when they unwrapped it not knowing what it was but, once opened and batteries inserted, they loved it. They play all different levels and turn off the tv to do it. They compete and they help each other. They love the accent of the speaker (British?). Anyway, so fun and a great buy. Highly recommeneded!

Customer Review: Great multi-level skill builder
Summary: 5 Stars

The Wobble Deck is a really cool toy. I agree that, as designed, it only works well on a hard floor and that the buttons have to hit the floor quite hard to make the noise, but that is part of the intent, I think. The toy requires the user to develop balance and coordination (as well as listening and memory skills) to make it work. If it were easy, it wouldn't develop those skills as well. My 7-year old son loves it. Building balance and coordination are particularly important at this age to encourage posture and grace. Fun toy! Go fot it!

Customer Review: Simon says: can you try it before you buy it?
Summary: 3 Stars

My kids are definitely the more challenging type, or they just like to find more than one way to play with toys. They did like other reviews said...turned it over and started playing with it like Simon Says, than using it for balancing. I thought this board would lead to balancing training for other activities such as skateboarding , rollarskating, etc., but I wonder if the height could have been a wee bit higher? It was fun to play with for about 15 minutes. I wish I tested it before buying it. I'm ready to resell it off now.

Customer Review: could be better
Summary: 3 Stars

We gave this to our two six year olds for Christmas.
They play with it a fair amount, but tend to get a bit frustrated.
The audio voice could be a lot clearer, as it is sometimes hard to understand.
Also, sometimes they perform the designated task, but are told it was wrong!
Hence the frustration.
It is well made however, and if used in the other modes where they can 'play' the instruments, it might be more fun, although our boys don't use it much in that mode.
