Toys and Games Reviews of Stomp Rocket Jr. Glow Kit

Customer Review: Great toy
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought Stomp Rocket Jr. for my 5-year-old nephew and he loved it as did his 10-year-old cousin. They played with it endlessly while I was visiting and my sister tells me that they still love playing with it. It's very easy to put together and shoots foam rockets into the air when you stomp on the foot pad. Since the rockets are foam the kids can even shoot them indoors without doing damage if they can't go outside due to the weather. I would suggest buying extra rockets since it's likely that some will be lost at some point. I would definitely recommend this toy as alot of fun.

Customer Review: Great Fun
Summary: 5 Stars

One of my best Christmas purchases for all the young (age 2 to 6)grandchildren. Simple to set up, safe enough to use indoors with supervision and works best in rooms with high ceilings, loads of fun outdoors. Everyone had to try it, even grandparents, but the younger ones will use it over and over with the challenge of making it go higher or hit a target. I would suggest getting a second set of replacement rockets as they tend to get lost or broken outdoors. I would not call this an educational toy really - just pure fun, but who says toys always need to be educational? Not me.

Customer Review: Great toy -- cheesy quality
Summary: 4 Stars

My rambunctious 8 year old grandson loved this -- so did grampa and I when we tried it! But, the plastic frame which held up the "launch pad" broke after the first day of play. The plastic pieces are very thin and just too flimsy for a toy that the kid literally stomps on. (Of course, the part that is stomped on is a plastic bladder that held up very well, but it would be hard for a child to avoid accidently stepping on or stomping on one of the three plastic support legs.) Great play value -- just wish it had a sturdier base. I'd pay more for that since it is such a fun toy.

Customer Review: perfect toy for all ages
Summary: 5 Stars

My two year old son can easily put the rocket on the launcher by himself. It is his favorite toy. ALL the kids in the neighborhood play with it (2-80 years old!) Boy or Girl, doesn't matter which. When the fins come off the rocket I just glue them back on (only one has come off after 4 months of regular use). It is portable so it comes with us to the park and other kids join in the fun. Kids learn taking turns, controlling direction of the rocket (other rockets only go up, this one can be adjusted so you can easily measure who has made the rocket go the farthest).

Customer Review: Loads of stomping!
Summary: 5 Stars

Wow! This thing really can launch a rocket! Bought this for my 2.5 year old nephew at Christmas and it was a real hit. It's not too difficult for this age but probably is best if the younger ones use it with supervision because this thing really works well! We were only using it in the house because of the weather and it was sending the rocket into the ceiling with a lot of force (and be careful not to point it at anyone!) It seems quite durable and is a lot of fun. I am certain that kids from 2.5 - 11 would enjoy it. Definitely would recommend it.
