My son received both the Stomp Launcher and Stomp Rocket Jr Glow as gifts and he loves both of them. The Stomp Launcher is nice because it doesn't go as high or far so it is a good alternative to outdoor play when it is raining out as it has been here lately. The Stomp Rocket Jr Glow is the one he prefers though because it does go higher and as it has been raining for so long here I closed off the entertainment center and let him play with both in the room with a vaulted ceiling. They are both great, but for different reasons. The Stomp Launcher is a little sturdier, but the step pad is smaller and the cord is shorter so with not as much air the rockets don't go as far but he loves that the rockets look more like a space shuttle style rocket. I suppose if I were to suggest one over the other I would recommend the Stomp Rocket Jr Glow unless you planned to use it inside at all then I would recommend the Stomp Launcher.Customer Review: best toy ever

I have a 3-yr old and a 2-yr old boy and this, by leaps and bounds, is the best Christmas present ever. We have only used it inside so far, due to the weather (cold and wind) but we shoot the rockets from our basement up to the main floor (in a split level) and they both can shoot the rockets (when I aim them good) all the way to high up on the far upstairs wall. My 2-yr old LOVES retrieving them and both boys giggle uncontrollably while playing with this. It's a great winter time indoor toy because it wears them out (not only climbing the stairs to retrieve the rockets, but also trying to jump and stomp as hard as they possibly can) and we can't wait to use it in the summer when we can shoot them straight up in the air. This is much better than many other more expensive toys they've received because it's active fun and they can take turns easily plus it's for indoor or outdoor. I googled gift ideas for a 5 year old boy for my son's birthday and this is on a list I found. I went ahead and ordered it because it was a great price and free shipping. Yesterday was my son's birthday and with everything he recieved - and there was a lot - this was his absolute favorite item. The rocket goes straight up and it really gets some distance. The harder you step on the launcher, the further it goes. Not just the kids either, the adults were having a blast with it as well. It seems very sturdy and I imagine I will need to buy replacement rockets since what comes up, must go down, and hits cement. I love that it takes no batteries - one of the few things he owns that doesn't!
I am buying another one today for my little neighbor who is turning 3 - he couldn't get the rocket as high as my son, but he was really enjoying it too!

Got two of these - for our boys 5 and 3. Set them up at the birthday party - what fun for all the kids, who were fighting each other to play with them. A simple concept, easy to set up, durable, fun to use inside and out. They will get stuck in trees, but just wait for wind or rain to bring them down again. You should definitely get the refill pack because of that. The only complaint I have is that the fins on the rockets come off very easily, and once that happens, they don't fly right. So hubby has to glue them back on with epoxy, at which point they're better than before. Am ordering another one today for a child's birthday - I think these are going to be the standard birthday gift for a while since they're so popular and also inexpensive. This was not a bad product at all. It's a little flimsy but does what it is suppose to do. Getting the 'legs' for the product to stand up on your lawn or driveway took some getting used to. Pieces fit together very awkwardly but not a deal breaker. The rockets do indeed shoot up very high in the air and some effort was put into getting them up a little higher---but alas, the joy of doing this lasted for about 10 minutes total. I bought this plus extra rockets for 4 to 10-year-old grandchildren. Although they tried it, plus several adults, including myself, the product just didn't hold anyone's interest for more than a few minutes. So, although the product does exactly what it promises to do and is an overall 4 star, it was a dud for us.
