Customer Review: Wonderful Crayons for Children Over Three

I am a trained and experienced early childhood teacher. These are wonderful crayons and I highly recommend them! The soy wax allows these crayons to glide smoothly and blend beautifully. They are 100% natural and non-toxic. The vibrant colors come from mineral pigments. They were developed by a special ed teacher to help develop a child's tripod grasp, necessary for learning to write.
Unfortunately, because of their unique shape, many parents think that these crayons will be appropriate for babies and toddlers. They are not. These crayons are designed for children over the age of three. Because of their size, they could present a choking hazard for younger children.
So if you have a child over three, you will not be disappointed. Drawing and writing are really more appropriate activities for children over three, so if you have a baby or toddler, my advice is to wait to purchase these until your child is older.
