The Crayola color explosion glowboard seemed to have potential and for 15 minutes, my granddaughter enjoyed playing it with her mother's direction and supervision. We were surprised when it quit working the very evening she opened it and decided the batteries were old. Upon replacing the batteries with new ones, it was still non-functional. I'm really sorry I ordered this for our granddaughter's Christmas.Customer Review: Lots of fun

The toy is fun to have and We use it to send messages when we're gonna miss each other, but I was a little disappointed at how easily the boards scratch. Once scratched the lines show up through the lights. But if you can keep it from being scratched it is neat to watch the kids leave msgs. for each other and it also makes a neat and personal nightlight, but we shut it off after she falls asleep.Customer Review: Lots of Fun

We got this item for my niece, and the adults were having as much fun as she was. It was a bit confusing to figure out how to use the multiple screens to change scenes, so don't rely on the directions (quite bad). Just experiment and you will figure it out. You can use coloring book pages in the frame, and the only future cost may be replacement pens, so I would probably order a set of those.Customer Review: Not what I expected

The commercial for this made it seem a lot more interesting. It's kind of fun to play with and you can think of different scenes you can create on your own, but you have to always have something to clean the screen with if you want to make a new one. And nothing you do gets saved.
Luckily it wasn't that expensive when we got it because the actual toy itself is very simple.

My 5YO son loves this. You can make 3 D pictures and choose how to project them as far as what will be highlighted. It is a cool toy. You have to wipe off the drawings with a wet paper towel, so it's not as easy to travel with as a doodle board, but my son thinks it is amazing, so we just take one with us. I think I will order some backup pens, since it states they dry out quickly.
