I got these for my 6 and 8 year old.. my 8 year old loves it and is very precise with the tracing and filling in with the markers that is involved. The 6 year old was didn't exactly try to get a good picture out of each page. They're thrilled with the 3D effect... I personally haven't checked that out, but if they're happy and it's their product... that works for me! I find that these color explosions are great affordable birthday gifts that are fun and disposable!Customer Review: messy

We got this for our kids thinking they would love it, but they could barely get the picture to come up. In order to see the picture you have to press really hard with the markers which are very poor quality, and the ink from the paper stains your fingers with the smallest amount of moisture on your skin. We had throw it out because the ink was permanent, we could not wash it off with soap or alcohol.

Great Crayola! My daughter absolutely loves (she's 7) and draws all in it all the time. I got it for her a week or so ago from Amazon (looks like all other websites are out of stock), it came really fast and she's been using that ever since. I don't know why previous reviewer said that markers are poor quality and she couldn't get the picture to come up, all works great here. Just like all the reviewers before me, my kid was unable to finish more than one picture before the markers became totally useless. However, a solution of plain white vinegar/water (~3:7) takes the black gunk that covers the pictures right off! It's messy and a bit stinky, and you end up using a whole roll of paper towels, but the kids are not crying over the markers anymore :) Good luck!Customer Review: don't waste your money

This product sucks. I bought it for my 4-year-old son and he "colored" the first page but got bored. The black film didn't completely come off and you can't see the picture clearly. My husband and I tried to "color" another picture but it takes so long for the film to come off, and sometimes it doesn't come off at all. It's tedious and a complete waste of money. Don't buy it.
