I was pretty skeptical when I first saw these, but the other reviews were favorable and I knew my daughter would be crazy about them. I am glad I bought them. They are terrific! The colors are bright and primary, and the color mixing works flawlessly. Also - they are no mess! I don't understand how they work. The bath water is colored, but if you scoop some water up, it is clear. I even shampoo my daughter in this water - no color transfers to skin, hair or towels. I only use one drop and I still get intense colors. My son tries to grab the water as it changes colors. They have stained nothing on or near the tub, which is important to the parents of splashers. I just wish my parents bought me stuff like this, but my bath water was always clear. There isn't too much to say, it either works or it doesn't, and these do. Lovely colors, lots of fun for little ones. "Dyes" the water blue, red or yellow. Good for teaching colors, or just for the fun of it (no pressure, just pretty water). I don't like red water and the yellow and orange is kind of weird, but the blue is gorgeous and purple is lovely too. Doesn't stain the white washcloths or skin. Our toddler girl loves it. My daughter just turned 6, and we're ordering our next batch. She's loved them since she started them at age 1. She gets to choose two colors to mix together, so it's a different colored bath each time which makes bathtime more fun for her, and for us since she gets in the bath quicker. when i recieved the product i knew that i had the chance of getting inconsistent colors based on the reviews. the tablets are not the colors stated on the jar but they do dissolve that way and you can make the combined colors. (the red was a little more like pink though) but red(pink) and yellow still made orange. good product overall.
