Honestly, fingerpainting will never be a mess-free experience, no matter what kind of paint you buy. That's sort of the point of fingerpaint, isn't it? But when you're ready to take on the mess of fingerpainting with your little one, these washable fingerpaints are a great choice. First of all, they're Crayola, which is sort of the gold standard when it comes to kids' art supplies. These paints are good quality, vibrant and bright. The price is reasonable, especially when you consider that with fingerpaint, a little goes a long way. The colors will show up best on shiny fingerpaint paper, but they're okay on thick matte paper too. Best of all, with a wet washcloth or baby wipe, you can easily wipe these paints off your child... your floors... your cabinets... your walls... I strip my toddler down to his diaper when he's fingerpainting, so I haven't had to wash these paints out of his clothes, but the washcloths I wipe him down with always come clean in the wash. All in all, I'm happy with these fingerpaints, and my toddler thinks they're a blast!
