I just received my pencils today, and I absolutely love them. I read elsewhere that there were some problems with the lead being broken in some of the pencils. I only had one that was broken. I will be using these pencils to mark in my Bible. I had searched greatly for a product that does not bleed. These color pencils sounded great and they did not disappoint. OMG....I purchased these for my 4 yr old niece in 12/09, and she LOVED them. She loves to color/draw all the time, and was so excited to have new colors. My 14 yr old nephew had a school project to do, he used them and thought they were cool, so I ordered him his own set. Two-Thumbs Up...and good for just about all ages.

I really like these pencils. They may not last quite as long as regular colored pencils and might be a wee bit nore money, but there's no pencil shaving mess and they always have a point so coloring/creating isn't interrupted. I'd like to find a bigger set for home but haven't found one yet.Customer Review: Not so good for toddlers

The pencils are too fragile for toddlers and break easily. Also, many colors are too light and barely visible on white paper.
Lead runs out too quickly and after a few colorings bright color pencils need to be replaced.
These are probably be suitable for kids 7+.

I gave the Twistables Pencils to my Niece at Christmas time. She has created many beautiful pictures with her pencils. She told me that she was too old for color crayons and the pencils make her feel older and creative.
