Wow..I was amazed at this product. I've seen many commercials on TV and thought this would be a gimmick...and that the 3D effects would be uneffective.
However, boy was I surprised! It works like it says it does...and my kids LOVED it. When you wear the INCLUDED 3D glasses...everything really works as described. I love it! The kids love it!
This is probably the coolest toy all year so far...I'm picking up a few more packs on Amazon as I right this review.
Overall this product is just what everyone says it is...AWESOME. Your kid will love it.

My 6 year old daughter saw the 3D chalk advertises on tv and begged me for it. I was definitely skeptical that it would work like they showed on tv-especially since it was always shown on very dark black pavement. I bought if for her though and OH-WOW was I surprised at how great this stuff works. The colors are bright and vibrant evenon our light grey pavement and with the glasses pops out with 3 Dimensional Excitement!! Best summer toy for the money-plan on buying a few more as gifts. Important though-set aside the glasses-w/o them its just chalk, so you want to keep them where you can find them :)Customer Review: I liked it, but not sure of the hype...

I liked the 3D sidewalk chalk. My only "concern" was that the glasses give off the effect rather than the chalk being special. I don't work for Crayola but it seemed that the chalk was the regular stuff that they sell and the glasses in conjunction with drawing "properly" using thick lines and contrasting colors did the work.
My daughter and I also got the same effect using the new Crayola Color Surge markers and paper (which are also worthy of buying) with the glasses which made me question whether the chalk was special.

All I can say is why didn't they have this when I was little!! The 3 d chalk is really cool. It is like the 3 d movies except the drawings don't fly at you. Makes the regular chalk seem old and boring. The only thing is the package comes with only one pair of 3 d glasses so only one person can use it at a time. I wish the chalk was bigger because of the price you have to use the chalk sparingly. I still recomment this chalk and intend on buying more. The 3D effect really does work, well sort of. It works best with the red/pink colored chalk, I guess that's why there are 3 of that color in the pack. The glasses have a special lens that picks up reds and pink colors making them look 3D. You can see a similar effect on almost anything of that color other than the chalks.
I tried every color of the chalks and again only the pink/red had the 3D effect. The kids and I had fun with the kit but 15+ dollars is a bit much for chalk.
