Customer Review: Can't get her to drink or pee

This doll is adorable, and overall my daughter (2 years) loves it. But one of the things I wanted her to see is that when baby drinks she has to pee, just like the rest of us. But no matter what I do I cannot get the water to go out of the bottle and into the doll's mouth! So while my daughter could care less (and maybe this will save me in terms of having a doll filled with water!), it's a bit annoying that I didn't get what I expected.
Plus side: took her in the bath and she didn't get water logged as I had expected. The smell is nice (although I prefer a doll without a scent).

I bought this doll to help with potty training. It didn't work exactly as I expected. The diaper got wet as soon as the bottle was put to her mouth and she didn't hold the water until she was squeezed as I was expecting. This was key to the method I was trying. Other reviews I had read said it had worked well, so maybe I just got a dud. As a doll, however, my daughter loved her so much she wouldn't let me return her. She is the favorite doll of my daughter. She is a good size/weight, is durable and smells good, so as a doll to play with she is great!Customer Review: Great Potty Training Doll

I used this doll to potty train our 28 month old daughter. Warning: the bottle leaks if you squeeze it too hard and it only takes 1/2 of a bottle full or less to produce a good amount of pee for the potty. It doesn't make a mess everywhere like other models do. You sit her on her own little potty after she drinks and push her tummy in and the pee comes out! My daughter's eyes still get so big when she sees the pee in the potty. I highly recommend this doll as well as reading Teri Crane's book "How to Potty Train Your Child in One Day".Customer Review: Disappointing

We purchased this doll to help with potty training. You have to jam the bottle in the dolls tiny mouth hole and squeeze with all your might to get the doll to "drink". After you clean up the water mess from the squeezing, you put the doll on the potty and squeeze the water out of her by pushing the belly. --NOT a very natural process! One of the eyes is stuck open as well, so she never sleeps when you lay her down. Not worth the big bucks. We are now looking at other alternatives.Customer Review: Beautifuly crafted doll!!!

I bought this doll to help potty train my 15m old daughter, she loves her so much!! It's a bit hard to feed her the water (I have trouble squeezing the bottle hard enough!!) but otherwise this is a good investment for potty training and she will use her for playtime for quite a while! the Emma doll is very pretty! you can tell alot went into the making of this dolly! My daughter loves her and carries her all over and I'm sure she will for a very long time!!
