Bought this for my 1 year-old's first birthday as her first baby doll. My daughter is now 3 1/2 and this is still her favorite doll. I feel the doll is made very well since in two years she remains in perfect condition, even with plenty of play time.
Couple of notes:
-washable, my daughter loves taking her into the tub
-dries quickly if you take a towel and squeeze excess water off (filling is bean-bag type material)
-this doll's body is not firm so she cannot sit up straight, which has occasionally irritated my daughter
-this baby doll smells good!

Although I had read previous reviews, I was a bit surprised when the doll arrived and it was intended as a "bath toy." I gave this doll to our granddaughter for her 1st birthday and she immediately picked it up and kissed it. The doll is the perfect size and weight for her as she has just begun walking. The doll hasn't found its way to the bathtub yet, but I was happy to see that she could easily be cleaned. I did not give a 5 for educational value simply because I was unsure of how to rate it at this time. I would definitely recommend her based on my granddaughter's reaction to her.Customer Review: okay, but . . .

This is a cute doll, but much smaller than I thought it would be. The body is not the moulded plastic that I thought it would be, but rather a weird, waterproof bean body. I liked that it was life-like (more so than the cabbage patch my daughter already has), but the smell was over-powering when I opened the box. I much preferred the mild smell of the cabbage patch to the Corolle doll. I had bought this as a birthday gift for my almost 2 year old, but returned it and plan to either buy an additional cabbage patch doll or a circo brand doll like she has at grandma's house.Customer Review: THE BEST BABY!

My 2 year old daughter was given this doll for her birthday and has yet to put her down, "baby kandi" goes everywhere with her! I had no idea she was so durable, I was even scared to put her in the tub. I was amazed how well she made out, her blinking eyes still worked after being held under the fast running water, and shes dries very fast. I didn't know how much she was until I saw her online, pricey but so worth it. I know that she's going to last thru my daughters toddler years and I can see her just as new with the next daughter (whenever that is!).Customer Review: Good for many ages

I gave this to my 18 month old daughter for Christmas and she absolutly loves it! It's just the right size for a child her size - easy to carry around and pretend to be a 'real mommy.' My four year old son has also taken to it (probably because it's HER favorite toy) so for the brief times he can 'play' with it, it builds his nurturing skills. being so soft and able to be washed/go into the tub/pool is a definite plus as well.
