Customer Review: Sturdy & fun for multiple ages + NO ASSEMBLY!

Bought this train for my then 18-month old nephew for Christmas. First of all, do you know what a pleasant surprise to buy a toy like this, open the box, and find out it's ALREADY 100% ASSEMBLED?! You don't even have to put the stickers on it. That's rare these days. My nephew loved it, hopped on it and started riding right away, fiddling with the controls and putting things in and out of the seat compartment. That was 6 months ago and he still plays with it every day. His 3-year-old sister also plays with it, too. It's very well constructed and very sturdy. It's been thrown down a flight of steps, rained on, jumped on, smeared with peanut butter and everything else you can image two active toddlers could do to it. And yet it still looks NEW. Easy to wipe clean and pretty much indestructible. This is a really great toy, especially for the price.

Chicco Play 'N Ride Train The Chicco Play 'N Ride Train is a kid powered ride-on that helps your child develop muscles and motor skills. Your little one can sit and steer the train anywhere. Train could also be used as a first steps walker while pushing the handle on the back. No tracks could hold your little engineer with this train.All aboard! This ride-on or push toy (for engineers up to 3 feet tall) is a colorful train with some unique features. On one side of the pretend smokestack funnel is a lever that makes a barber pole spin, on the other a lever that makes a silly squeaky noise. The top of the funnel is a working steering wheel that has a spinning top with colorful balls that bounce and clatter once you push the button. With a tall, removable backrest that doubles as a push bar for beginning walkers--and a seat that opens up to a compartment to hide important treasures--this is a great addition to any rail yard or playroom. --S.
