This watch is a fun toy, or good as a collectible gift for a fan of the series (which is why I bought it). The watch is plastic, the sound quality isn't that great, and if you're not careful you could trigger the watch sounds at completely inappropriate times just by bumping against it in your pocket. Collectors of all the toys produced in the past few years will appreciate having this in their collection, but if you're looking for a higher quality watch, just buy a plain pocket watch and find a jeweler who can etch the designs into the top of the case. Sure, that'll cost more, but it'll certainly last longer.
Description of The Doctor's Fob Watch with Metal Keychain
This beautiful, fully working fob watch has detailed engraving on the case and features speech, orange and red lights, sound effects, and a watch chain. It's an excellent addition to your ensemble and a fun way to show your respect for The Doctor! The fob watch is made of sturdy lightweight plastic and measures 3 1/2-inches tall x 2-inches wide x 3/4-inches long. Requires 4x "LR44" batteries, included.
