OK, guys, I know you want to satisfy your kids' cravings for this little hamster, but he is totally NOT WORTH the money. I bought one, and threw it out. It worked for a short time, I changed the batteries, then it worked a bit again. It is very cheaply made, and people are selling them for exhorbitant prices, ripping off those who really can't afford to pay these high prices for something that is worth [...], what I paid for it.
Get a real one instead. They are more cuddly. Sorry to spoil the party, but I would not buy this again. And shame on the people who are selling them for so much money. Sad world, isn't it?

I bought this one little Zhu Zhu pet for my cats. We have no children, so I can only review this based on our cats' perspectives! They were quite surprised, and it definitely held their interest. Unfortunately, after a few minutes they'd knock it over, and we'd have to put it right again. It's not that big of a deal though because this toy shouldn't be left alone with cats. They're short-haired cats, but we made sure they avoided the wheels anyway. So, if you buy one of these for cats (or dogs!) monitor the play time. Other than that, it's a very cute little toy, and the name "Chunk" is adorable.

Seriously, I can't believe Amazon is selling this hamster for these prices, I'm disgusted, don't waste your money! Cute for $8, only. It makes a few cute sounds but had I known this Hamster made TRAIN sounds and says "beep beep" I would have never bought it! When you press the back it says "go go go" and runs for about 1 minute before you have to press the button again. This means that when the hamster is in a tunnel or the adventure ball you have to fish him out to start all over again. My 8 year old was completely disappointed, luckily I bought when the price was still reasonable.Customer Review: Toy was broken when received

I wasn't pleased with this item at all . It arrived on time , however when it was opened which was a birthday gift for a child of course it didn't work . I was very upset as it is for a kid and any kid who gets a toy certainly expects it to work . I contaced the seller , they informed me that they had no more in stock . I wasn't pleased with the fact or not being able to replace it with exactly what I had bought . YES I still have the item ,so now I will have to purchase another one if I can find one . Was truly not worth all this headache Review: Birthday PresentSummary: 5 Stars I bought this Zhu Zhu pet for my granddaughter. She loves it, and so does her little sister, so much in fact, that I bought one for her in a different color for her birthday that was two weeks after her sisters. The product is wonderful. My granddaughter let out a squeal that could have broken glass she was so happy when she opened it. I love that it came with batteries too. It was delivered when promised as well. This present sure did make for some happy little girls. Of course I ordered the second one in a different color.
