We purchased this for our son a few weeks ago and he loves it! So do all of his friends! The hamster is sturdy and has endless tricks and energy. Much better than the real thing! I think it would interest everyone who is complaining about the private sellers to know that my friend sells on Amazon and she has to pay quite alot for her toys, as she purchases them from a toy supplier and as demand goes up, the prices from the suppliers go way up. Add to that the 20% fee she pays for each item sold, plus time, shipping, etc. and she really doesn't clear all of that much. It's a great convenience for us working moms to be able to purchase online! All of the stores are out of this and she couldn't buy any at the toy stores at the low prices any more than the rest of us could. I purchased this product to see what all the hype was about. I was sadly disappointed. Although my kids have enjoyed it, the toy lasted just a few hours and the batteries died. So be prepared to replace the batteries pretty quickly. The hamsters continually get stuck and turned onto their sides. While it is initially fun and exciting for little ones, it just is not made to last. The one we have is only a few days old, and is no longer working (even after replacing the batteries). It moves too slow and cannot even move through the little tunnel on its own anymore. Don't fall for the hype. If you want something that will be fun for a few hours, then get it. But don't expect this to last, as it is a cheaply made toy.Customer Review: You'll be Surprised.

When I first got this I thought how crappy it first appeared, especially for the price, BUT I was pleasantly surprised at how durable it is. We bought the zhu zhu for our 3 year old. She was able to pack this thing around and it never came apart, and with a pretty high energy child like I have, that is saying a lot. I've spent money on houses for other toys and am constantly putting pieces back on, but this little toy just stays together and I love that. The only teeny tiny complaint I have is that the zhu zhu occasionally will get stuck in the tunnel. However, they were smart enough to have the tunnel top flip open like a jewelry box so that way my child can give it a slight nudge to push it on through.Customer Review: never received package and they told me they did not have any more to 1 Stars
I bought this for my daughter's birthday and it got lost somewhere in shipping and so they were going to send another but they did not have anymore in Amazon's wharehouse and would not get one from a third party seller for me so by that time it was too late to find another one for my daughters birthday and every where I looked they were too expensive for a mother who is on disability and bedridden. They did refund my money but that did not make up for me having a daughter who cried all day and Amazon is a big enough company they could have afforded to get me one from another seller. I learned a big lesson that day!!!!!Customer Review: Love this toy, but make sure you get PATCHES with it!!!

We bought this for our daughter and the first time we received it, the seller was sent us a funhouse with Chunk!! This is clearly a listing for Funhouse with Patches inside of it!! Be sure you read the sellers comments because alot of them are trying to sneak a different hamster with it!!! We finally received the Funhouse with patches and hooked it up with all the other accessories and my children just love playing with the Zhu Zhu Pets and their accessories. We haven't had any problems with it at all. When our kids' friends come over this is the one toy they have to play with, and can't get enough of.
