First of all, this is a three inch magnifier at best...notnine inches the title pointed toward.
Second, this magnifier is totally plastic--not a bad idea, but read on.
Third; The opitics are acrylic 'molded' plastic (that's okay) and apparently no care was taken to make sure the finished product was correct. The optics are junk for adult use.
AT the same time, if you've got a young scientist (ten years old) running around there, this would be a good starter magnifier.
So, why did I give it such a good rating? They ask me to rate it according to how good a 'toy' it was...it makes for a fine toy.
You adults need to shop elsewhere.
