this gun is extremely durable. not that powerful. reloading is a pain, the shells pop out all over the place, and when i try to fire, it gets jammed half the time.
i wouldn't reccomend it.
pros: very durable, portable, ammo container in back
cons: not particularily powerful, reloading is a pain, sluggish shot, jamming happens often, sometimes doesn't shoot altogether
bottom line: my night finder is about as cheap as this, and more powerful. no to mention easy to mod. buy that instead.

Do not believe the people who gave this dart gun a terrible review. They did not even read the instructions. Those people complain that this dart gun doesn't work because they didn't even cock the dart gun. You open the blaster until it forms a l-shape or a right angle. You should hear it cock. Then you put the darts (which are in the shells)in. You need to press the trigger hard enough that both darts shoot. You only shoot 1 dart if you pull the trigger only half-way. The darts go about 15-25 feet.Customer Review: Its Amazing

I am an engineering student, and this thing has been the best 15$ I have ever spent. More stress relief can be found by loading and firing this than any stress ball.
I recommend sawing off the barrel, since that makes it feel more awesome, but its still just as much fun if you dont. Also, if you put a little duct tape arround the tips of the darts, they will bend less and last longer.
Get this one, don't bother with the rapid fire, this one is the masterpiece.

this gun was cool while it lasted. the realistic reloading and firing method made it fun and it was pretty accurate. i could reload it relatively fast but the cocking mechanism makes it tricky to use. if you don't watch how carefully you pull the barrel down to pull the string, you can easily break several components. however, this was in part my fault do my macho mindset. as long as you watch how hardly you pull the barrel down, you should be able to have some fun with this.Customer Review: Double shot

This double barrel shot gun toy is a lot like the real gun. It shoots shells with darts in them. To load the gun you pull down the barrels till it clicks to cock it then you put two shells in the front part of the barrel just like a real shot gun, then pull the barrels back up to where it clicks. You can either fire one dart at a time or fire both at the same time by pulling the trigger down harder. When you go to load it again the shell shoot out of the back of the barrel.
