I have read alot of the reviews about this gun and I will be totally honest. I guess there are defects in the gun because my gun fires all the time. It takes a while to reload but who cares? It is harder then you would think to cock it, it shoots pretty far but is very picky about bent darts so be carful with your darts. It is very fun to just walk around with and reload. It really hurts to get shot with point blank, don't ask how I know (;, and there is a fun feature where you can fire both darts at the same time. IF I WERE YOU I WOULD BUY THIS Review: Not bad but mine was faultySummary: 5 Stars Well I bought mine at walmart and it works all except my left barrel doesnt fire. My nephew bought one and his works fine so I think mine just had a faulty part Im probably gonna return it for another one. It's pretty fun to mess around with even with only working barrel. The breach-loading system is fun and it I love how the shells eject when you open it. Also it has a storage compartment in the butt of the gun which is nifty so you don't lose the other darts. A great toy for kids I got this one for when my nieces or nephews are over here and they like it.

My 12 year old son decided to buy this toy with his own money. I did my best to talk him out of it, but it was his decision (this time). He only paid $6.00 for it. I expected it to be broken within the first hour of use and warned him of this when he bought it. Well, we've now had two full days of fun and it is still going strong. It was certainly well worth the money spent on it. Even my special needs seven year old was able to operate it. My only warning would be that the darts do come out with a good deal of force. I got this gun about 9 months ago and when I fired the first two shots, I knew this weapon would automatically become my favorite out of my collection. It had the best power ever, was unbelievably accurate, and could fire semi-auto for 2 shots. Now, this gun wasn't the best in battles, as the reload was extremely slow (it is 2-shot breech-loading), but was perfect for sniping missions. It was all great until one day it just stopped working. but all in all, the most fantastic gun I ever had. I might even get a second one for a replacement!Customer Review: Fun for just about anyone

This toy is something my 5 year old nephew owns. I am 21 and my other nephew is 10 and quite honestly all of us fight over it. This is a very durable and fun toy. It is pretty realistic in the way it loads and ejects the shells which makes pretending like you are a soldier that much more fun. It is extremely acurate which is cool when we are sitting around watching tv and trying to shoot the badguys that are hurting our favorite heroes. I'd recommend this toy to just about any parent with any age boy. It is fun and for the most part safe.
