Customer Review: Too Much Fun on Christmas! 5! Amazing!

Man let me tell you, I wish I had this when I was younger. Being 20, my Mom got a pair for my Dad and I to shoot one another for Christmas. I've never had so much fun! I felt like Clint Eastwood with the breach loading system! It was so much fun, and they have lasted over quite the battles (you know, rolling over couches, diving on the kitchen floor, cornering walls etc.) They have surprisingly amazing accuracy and pack the punch. When I finally got hit I couldn't believe how much force these had.
I don't know why but I can't make the stars go up but trust me, this is fun for anyone who wants a great time! I'm definitely going to take this back to my dorm room in college and enjoy the use I can get out of it!

This is the best nerf style gun out there. And by the best I mean as far as style, power, distance and fun.
2 easy mods you can make to improve performance, is to use a smallhack saw (ask you parents first) to saw off the blue barrel about 1/2 inch before the yellow. A small abount of crazy glue may be needed to hold the end of the barrel together. This will decrease the amount of friction on the dart as it travels throug the barrel. Also, the darts fit a bit too snug in the shells. Take the end of a pencil (eraser side) and SLOWLY twist it into the hole in the dart then slowly back out. This will open the hole just enough. DO NOT DO ANY OTHER MODS to this gun. It will only ruin it.

Got this for my 6 year old son because 1) he wanted something to go with his blazing fast Rapid Fire, and 2) he wanted a shotgun to mimic his "Gears of War" characters.
Open it up, load the shells, and........Nothing. This thing couldn't even shoot the darts out of the shells! Definitely going back to get a refund. It sure ejects the shells nice. Even on the surface though, would you really want a blaster where you need to put the darts into shells, and then load the shells all while you're trying to run around? Plus, you only get two rounds of fire-time before you need to reload. Lame, at best.
If you want a "Real" blaster, stick with a Nerf namebrand.

I bought this not even 30 minutes ago and am writing this review to express my pure livid rage for BuzzBee Inc. They call this a gun??!! This is crap!!!! Ill give them the benefit of the doubt in saying i might have got a bad model or am loading it wrong but this gun is crap. It fires once out of every twenty times and get this, after 19 times, i decided to point it at my face. I pulled the trigger and the thing shot two darts in my bloodshot eyes. As I said before i might have gotten a bad gun. Instead of buying from this wanna-be dart gun manufactuerer go with Nerf!!NONE of their guns jam or fail to shoot. Buzzbee is a piece of crap.
GO WITH Review: Double Shot!
Summary: 3 Stars When I bought this gun it worked fairly well. It shot about average distance and was pretty acurate. After about 6 months of owning it its performance started to drop. Somtimes it would shoot a few feet, somtimes it would't shoot at all. After a while it just plain didn't work. I am not saying you shouldn't buy it just don't think it will be any thing grand. I think it is over priced slightly. If you are thinking about getting this I highly suggest you look into the tommy mech 20. It is 6 times better, made by the same brand and is definitly worth the extra 10 or so bucks.
