My son loved this truck the moment it came out of the box. He also has a Bruder Mack truck. The level of detail is not quite as sharp on the Garbage Truck as with the Mack Truck (doors don't open, etc.) but for a 4 year old boy who plays with trucks constantly, this truck is holding up much better than the Mack Truck - sometimes all that detail is wasted / damaged when the truck is pushed down a sandhill or getting rocks thrown in it! I would recommend this truck to any kid who waits for the garbage truck to come during the week.Customer Review: garbage truck for a child who worships the garbage man

My two year old grandson's favorite days are Tues and Friday when the garbage truck comes by. The garbage man stops and talks to him. I (grandma) bought the side loader to match the "real one". The two year old figured out how the can attached, I couldn't!!
It was expensive so I shared the cost with my son. My grandson already has the Brueder dump truck and it is played with daily so I knew even though it was expensive, it was durable and good value.
It was deliver promptly in a HUGE box carefully padded.

We bought this garbage truck for our son for Christmas and he just loves it. He plays with it every day. He is still mastering the side arm but can work all the other parts easily. It seems to be made well and is holding up pretty good so far. Although, I am worried that some of the little, thin plastic parts might break off at some point. So far he hasn't been too rough with it. I do wish the doors on the cab would open, but we are happy with it so far. Its other good reviews are worthy. My son is 2.5 years old and LOVES this truck. It is a great size for his age. Big but lightweight and really easy to push. I can see him liking it through his school years. If you have a boy and don't have any Bruder trucks for him, I HIGHLY recommend getting one (or some!). They are super! Also, check out the Bruder website - they are an environmentally friendly company, and their toys are world renound (literally). THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PURCHASE.Customer Review: Lovely Garbage truck

This is our 5th Bruder toys in the house. We already have 1 green garbage truck, fire engine, cement mixer and couple construction vehicles set. My 4-year old loves this toy since this is big and yet not too big that he can move this around the house. This is very well made and his play date once sat on it and it is still in good shape. This is good money spent on something that would last for a long time.
