Customer Review: Looks great, but I wonder about quality

Wow! We just opened the box to our Bruder Garbage Truck. It looks great, like the kind of toy I wish I had as a child. Yes, the price is high, and yes, I am concerned that the plastic may not hold up to any rough play. However, with the continual decline of Nylint and Tonka, it is getting harder and harder to get quality trucks for little boys (and adults!). On that front, I am glad that Bruder offers these detailed vehicles. Also, I am glad to find a toy truck that doesn't have battery powered annoying lights and sounds. Like I said, it is getting more difficult each Christmas season to find a quality toy truck.........Customer Review: Middle of the Road

My 4 year old nephew wanted this truck, and this truck only, for Christmas. A friend of his had it and he thought it was the coolest thing ever. He's having fun with it and it seems pretty sturdy (he rides it around the kitchen sometimes) but I find that the mechanism they use for releasing the back end garbage lift is very difficult for a 4 year old to operate. You kind of have to pinch it in from both sides simultaneously. I swear, it was difficult for ME to do the first couple of times and now I find he's always asking me to close it for him. We ordered 2 BRUDER GARBAGE TRUCKS for our sons , they are 2 & 3 --- They get excited when they see the garbage truck pick up our trash , they think the big garbage trucks are interesting --- When SANTA brought them 2 big GARBAGE trucks for Christmas , They loved them !!! --- They play together with them all the time , The detail on this big truck is great , They like the Moving parts . They love to imagine & play with the Bruder Garbage Truck , we also got them the Cement Mixer & Dump truck --- If your toddler boy likes trucks , they will enjoy the Bruder Trucks !Customer Review: great toy for my 5 year old!

my son just turned 5 in september and is obsessed with garbage trucks. he wanted a big truck for his birthday that didn't look cartoonish and had a "smasher". i was a little hesitant spending this much money, however, this truck so far has not been a disappointment. it holds up very well and we like how there is no need for batteries or flashy sounds or lights. he loves turning the knobs and watching the trash get smashed. well built toy, realistic and entertains my son. overall good product. i'll buy more from bruder in the future.Customer Review: Well worth the price.

Like many little boys, my grandson (4) is fascinated when the garbage truck comes by. He got this garbage truck for Christmas last year and it was well worth the price. He and his brother (7) have given this truck a lot of use and it has held up to all their play. And they love it. It looks like the real thing and has lots of working parts. They especially love putting small toys in the bin and dumping them into the truck. A great toy for boys and one that will last.
