First a disclaimer: I've known Dean Yeagle for thirty years and we ran a small animation studio together. Dean's a terrific designer and he obviously draws very nice pretty girls. The thing about Dean's work that separates him from the often rather nasty new 'girlie artists' is this: Dean's girls are NICE. They are INNOCENT. And the cartoons are very, very funny.
You could show Mandy cartoons to your mother. As a matter of fact, my mother and father love Dean's work. There is no pornography here. Well, okay, there's erotica. But erotica is fun. And Mandy--well, Early Poster...get with the program. She's not real. She is a cartoon. She is over 18, doesn't have a boyfriend, and can't get anyone pregnant (She's not a cartoon man!). So your review is irrelevant to the subject matter.
If you like fine drawing and great, innocent girlie art in the tradition of Elvgren and Petty, buy this book or any of the other MANDY books.
And there are great drawings of other characters in them too, for those of you who need something to look at besides pretty girls.
