Customer Review: Can't live without (the nursing pillow)

The original BOPPY nursing pillow is a must-have if you plan on breast feeding......the toys are great,and my baby loves to look at them...i bought more rings and more toys to alternate.....there are 2 very minor downfalls: 1)the toy bar is very hard to hook on the boppy..what i did was substitute rings and now it is very easy,but not as firm of an arch...2)you can't really buy an optional cover unless you want to take it off every time you you the gym...(however i cut holes in my cover to allow me to do this)
all in all this is a great item

As a new mom of a preemie, I was apprehensive to breastfeed (due to her small size and her problems latching on). The boppy pillow is a must have for all moms. It is especially useful for the middle of the night feedings. I like the concept of the 5-in-1 and am anxious for my 2 week old to enjoy it. The only problem is that it is cumbersome to keep reattaching the gym to the boppy for playtime and detaching it for nursing time. Get a Boppy pillow (and a few slipcovers) and a seperate gym toy. THat is the best of both worlds! Enjoy.

As a large-breasted mom, this was impossible for breastfeeding (my breasts lay on the pillow). Tip for big girls: football hold.However, my son would nap in this when he was tiny, lie on his back and look at the toys, and then bat at them. Sit comfortably and play with the toys as he got a bit bigger and then lay on his stomach and shake the thing furiously (and to much delight). Although we have put the boppy away now (10 months) he still plays with all the toys, and particularly loves the mirror rattle.

I bought this because I live in a two story house. Because I had a c-section the boppy was very helpful when I was nursing the first couple weeks and needed it to protect my incision. I had a regular one upstairs and this one downstairs. After I was able to nurse comfortably upstairs we put the activity gym onto this boppy and it is now a toy for my baby while I use my other boppy for myself. If I had bought two boppys I would have felt like I had wasted my money on a second that I only needed for a while.Customer Review: Love it!

My four-month-old daughter really enjoys this product. She finds the little toys just captivating and I love to watch her face as she plays with them. I think she has really gained a lot of motor skills (reaching, grabbing, and so on) by playing in her boppy. I enjoy how versitile this item is, and it's portability. It is quick and easy to pack it in the car when we're traveling, and it's very compact in it's storage case (which is a lot more than I can say about most of the other baby things we have).
