Customer Review: Nice at the start and the end, but not in the middle

I chose the Boppy 5-in-1 because it provided two things, easy breastfeeding position and a game for the baby. I loved it while breastfeeding, it was so comfortable and easy to use, but it is really a pain when you want to transform it into the gym, because the handles are so hard to place in and out. So, I used only the boppy while breast feeding, then when I stopped breastfeeding (around 4 months), we realized that our baby wanted to be sitted as long as possible and the boppy with the gym attached was the perfect solution, so the only bad time was that transition.Customer Review: not worth the price

I first purchased this pillow for assisting with nursing, but it was too bulky and full for the small baby. We then tried it as a pillow to prop the growing baby up and again it was so high up and bulky that my baby kept slipping off of it and crinking his neck. Needless to say we spent over $.. for something that remains in the garage now. The only use of the boppy were the toys that were dangling off of it, except the toys were better when apart from the overhang. You are better off with just a plain, large and puffy pillow for nursing and propping the baby.Customer Review: Didn't need arch

I'm thankful that I received this for a gift as I had a c-section and needed the boppy pillow for nursing. However, we never really used the boppy and arch w/ toys all together because I was always using the pillow for nursing. My son likes the toys, but those can always be bought separately (or at least ones like them). We also have an activity gym that he used more. I found when I placed him under the arch with toys he slouched down, then once he was big enough to sit up he didn't like sitting underneath the arch. Next time I would only get the pillow.Customer Review: Awesome Item!

This is one of the best items I received at my baby shower. It is also one of the items I use the most. I use it for the nursing pillow, my 6 week old gets his "tummy time" on it, and he also likes to sit up in it so he can see what is going on around him. (There is a smaller version for "tummy time" also that I plan on purchasing so he can reach his toys). I do wish the material was a little softer, when he is on his tummy, he likes to rub his face on it and it seems a little rough. I was given this as a shower gift and thought it was going to be wonderful as both a nursing pillow and gym. I never used it as a nursing pillow, as I had a C-Section and found the pillow too painful around my middle. I ended up just using a soft bed pillow. I don't like it as a play gym for the baby, either. As he swats at the toys, he slides off the pillow and ends up stuck on the floor, unable to move and frustrated. For a lot less money, we got a Fisher-Price gym where he can lie flat on the floor and roll around or stay put as he pleases!
