The Boppy 5-in-1 fun is great. It is the only playmat that I have found that supports my baby by raising its her off the ground for playing, lounging, sitting, exercising, and nursing. The tops are easy to clip on and off and are easily interchangeable to keep my baby entertained. I have found no other product that offers this level of versatility and superior design. I recently purchased a Boppy 5-in-1 fun pillow and I absolutley love having it for my baby. Not only is the Boppy pillow a great product but the added play bar makes for an even better product when not nursing. My child stays entertained for hours with the attached play bar. I had heard of the boppy pillow but never considered buying one since I am bottlefeeding my daughter. Then I saw this gym and the pictures on the package of all the different things you can use it for. I can put my daughter in it to play or I take off the top to just let her sit up. It also helps when bottle feeding to take some of her weight off my arm. It is good for tummy time too. I found this is similar in price to the other play gyms but has numerous more uses. As a large-breasted mom, this was impossible for breastfeeding (my breasts lay on the pillow). Tip for big girls: football hold.However, my son would nap in this when he was tiny, lie on his back and look at the toys, and then bat at them. Sit comfortably and play with the toys as he got a bit bigger and then lay on his stomach and shake the thing furiously (and to much delight). Although we have put the boppy away now (10 months) he still plays with all the toys, and particularly loves the mirror rattle.

I love my boppy! It made breastfeeding my children so much easier, and so much more comfortable. We got the 5 in 1 thinking it would be great alternative to the playmat, but it wasn't. It's a pain to always convert the boppy into the play gym, and it's really not ideal until baby is older because the baby look so uncomfortable propped up rather than lying down. What we did was take the toys from the gym and added it to our baby's gymini. They toys are great...they are Sassy, and our baby loves them! The Boppy is also a great alternative as a support pillow when baby is learning to sit up on his/her own!
