I use this product more often than anything else that I have received. I registered for it because I knew how good the pillows are for nursing/sitting up and I liked the added feature of the toy bar. Due to limited space in our house, I didn't want another toy mat/gym if I didn't have to have it. The bars are real easy and quick to take off and lay flat for storage. The pillow is great for nursing and my son loves to sit/lay on it. We are also using if for tummy time to build up his stregth.The only problem is that the cover is not removable for cleaning which has been my only concern with spills and spit ups but we have just used a damp cloth for cleaning.

A family member purchased this item as a gift for me before my son's birth. At six weeks old he loves being placed under it. I did purchase more of the rings to add to the existing ones to try and encourage him to reach for them, and it worked. It has been a little large for him to sit up in, but I am hoping it will help him learn. I don't use it for my nursing though, I have another boppy for it. Taking the arches off is too time consuming for me at this point, especially when he decides it is time to eat. All babies are different but this item works well with my son and myself. It even has a great little bag to pack it up in and take to his grandparents !!!Customer Review: Both of us love the Boppy

I love the Boppy because I find it positions my baby just right for nursing and it fits me perfectly. The baby loves the Boppy because of its zebra stripes and interesting toys and rings. He seems quite content and comfortable when sitting in it gazing at each toy in turn, and he really lights up when I shake the bars a little. He is working on reaching for objects, and I can see that he finds the boppy very inspirational. The only complaint I have is that taking the bars on and off is too annoying to make it a truly dual purpose item. At this point (5 weeks) only the baby uses the Boppy. I had registered for a different play yard until I read so many negative reviews about the arches not being sturdy. So...I bought this boppy gym & dearly love it! After our son was born, my husband & I used the pillow alone to support the baby (& our backs) when we fed him. Our son didn't care for the gym until he was almost 3 mos. old, but now he loves it, & he is fascinated with the green smiley face/mirror, cooing & smiling at it all the time. If your baby doesn't like to be confined, don't use this item until he is long enough for his legs to extend out of the pillow. Oh, and the arches are definitely sturdy!Customer Review: Not quite what I expected

The Sassy toys that came with this product were not quite what I expected - the mirror toy does not face so that the mirror faces my son when he is facing up, no matter where I put it, and the other toys were fairly low quality (just how much fun is a plastic donut?). The packaging for the 5-in-1 says that it can be used for tummy time, but the boppy is too thick for my 3-month-old to comfortably lay on his tummy. I replaced the toys on this with other Sassy toys that I received with another playmat and it is a fairly satisfactory toy now, but my son still prefers another playmat that we purchased for about [money] less.
