I do not nurse, but like the 5 in 1 idea so I got this. I found my baby laid on his back fine without wiggling off, and loved the toys overhead. He hated laying down unless he was sleeping so the little bit of elevation was great. When he started to get more active and needed tummy time, I found this invaluable! Most abbies hate being on thier bellies because it is hard to hold themselves up. This helped my son so that he didn't feel gravity pulling him down. It allowed him to have around 15 minutes of tummy time aday earlier than he would have tolerated it otherwise. Now he is learning to sit up and the boppy cradles him perfectly for that extra balance and support he needs! I highly recommend this!Customer Review: Does it's job...

I give it 4 out of 5 stars only because I believe that younger babies should be laying flat on their backs when they play with a gym. This is a pretty bulky thing, so when the gym is not in use I use the boppy for nursing. I have another boppy that I use, but it's always handy to have two, I use one for my back and the other for nursing. My baby is only 6 weeks old so he has yet to enjoy this toy to the fullest. But for now, it does it's job, he looks at the toys, but it seems he is more interested in the bar, maybe because it's black and white. I like this product, I just think it's too pricey and also, the company should make a cover for the boppy in this 5 in 1 gym with latches to hook onto.Customer Review: Best gift I've received!!!

My son who is 6 wks old does not like laying in his portable crib. I received this as a gift and my son absolutely loves it. He will lay there for hours in his boppy pillow, sometimes he sleeps sometimes he just looks around. We haven't used the gym yet, but I'm sure we will. For the $, I think it's wise to purchase the boppy 5 in 1, than to buy just the pillow. You'll get more use out of it. I think the boppy pillow surrounds him and makes him feel comfortable. I've used it for nursing and it helped me. My arms didn't feel like they were going to fall off. My husband always asks for it when he spends time with him. This is a very creative invention! I wasn't sure how well the pillow would 'fit' or if it would be any better than a regular pillow, but it turned out to fit very comfortably and baby can lie easily on his side to nurse - my arms are free and don't get tired trying to hold him in the right position. The other use of the pillow is great with the toy attachments. Baby can sit comfortably in the pillow and bat at the toys dangling above him. Another great use is to put the baby face down laying over the pillow - it often helps him to burp after feeding, saving me having to hold and burp him. I did not find the boppy pillow to be at all useful as a nursing pillow. We were having latch on trouble and I really needed the support. Baby would slide between me and the pillow. I ended up getting the harder to find 'my brest friend' nursing pillow, which I could not have done without. THAT pillow is awesome (it is flat and form fitting with a velcro belt). Also as a toy for baby the boppy is too awkward to lay baby in. I ended up attaching the top part to a blanket so she can lie under it. That works okay. I gave it 2 stars instead of one bcuz she ADORES the cloth blue dog rattle that came in the set. And I love it because it's washable. But that is one expensive rattle!
