Customer Review: Well Advertised but a Poor Product

I tried to use the Boppy as both a nursing cushion and a toy for my baby who is now 4 months old. As a nursing cushion it is not firm enough and is difficult to get in a comfortable position. I ended up buying the "My Best Friends" cushion through the hospital's lactation department and that works VERY well by offering good comfortable support for both me and the baby....You will not want to keep messing with removing the cushion from the toy. And, your baby will slump down and fall off the cushion which will just make him frustrated and unable to get at the toys.
The Boppy's only saving grace is that it does come with some nice Sassy rattles which are expensive when bought individually and you can use the cushion to put your baby on his tummy.

I love this thing. My biggest reason to buy it was that it does so much! And I wanted to use it for breastfeeding. But my son does so well in it for supervised play time! Yes, he scoots down when he's laying in it, but he's doing the scooting on his own, and I encourage it. I just put him back on it and let him scoot down some more. I think it's great for his legs. And tummy time is wonderful in this. My 5 week old has already rolled over from tummy to back when he was using the Boppy. And he loves talking to the toys...I add some with extra rings. I can't wait to use it when he's older to sit up in. I think I was most excited when I received this at my shower, and to watch my son have a great time playing on it, it's all worth it :)Customer Review: Love this thing

Ok for you mothers out there who complain about the gym, stop you bought this for a gym or a boppy. Yes, i know it can be used for both but you cant have everything in one product.We have had this product for about 2 months now and we love it we bought it to travel with and it makes it so easy to tear down and store,not to mention to switch between playtime and feeding time, and get on the go quickly. Our son loves the black and white bars, but thats simply because black and white are all they can see their first months. All the colors that alot of these toys or gyms or boppys have the baby cant even see them until about 6 months. This product is nice for parents on the go and parents who dont mind a 60 sec tear down and assembly time.Customer Review: Alright - OK

I thought this looked great and I've heard so many wonderful things about the boppy. But, I didn't think it was comfortable to nurse with at all. I thought my baby would love laying on her back and playing with the toys, but she would cry after only a few minutes. I found that it was because she would slide down and get crunched up. I had just a regular gym for my 2 other children and they loved it. Now that she's 3 months, she'll tolerate laying on it. I'm hoping that she'll like it more as she gets older. I'm also hoping that I'll find more uses for it, like helping her to learn to sit up. But, as yet I wish I had just bought a regular gym. The sassy toys are nice though. This Boppy is GREAT!!! It is perfect for any mom who breastfeeds, as well as bottle feeding. I have used this when feeding and regular boppy covers work well this when arches are not on it.
It is also very entertaining for baby when used with arches. Plus, when used for belly play, the arch attachment straps can hold hook on toys for baby to play with.
My husband and family love this too, because it makes sitting and holding or feeding baby easier. We take this everywhere. I am still finding new uses for it everyday.
Highly recommend this product for all new parents or those looking to buy gift for the new baby in your life. It is worth the few extra dollars for this 5-in1 Boppy than the regular Boppy.
