Customer Review: Kid's love it, but...

I don't know what I expected - it's a plastic trumpet for kids. My kids have a lot of other toy instruments. This one is very loud, and VERY piercing. I don't mind when they play their harmonicas, or even the percussion set, but this thing is shrill!
They love it though, and it keeps them busy. I can always use earplugs.
On the plus side, it does use realistic fingering, they are able to come up with tunes on it, and it does give some very creative marching-band play for them.
