Not only is this kind of fun for noodling around with yourself-- it's easy to use, small and nearly as much fun as an air guitar-- it's also the perfect present for relatives with children. I would particularly advise it for relatives who have at sometime or another urged you to have children when you didn't want to do so, given your children an annoying toy or who just need a little annoying themselves.
Without even removing this item from the package it's possible to push the rhythm button and get some idea of the annoyance potential. You can attach it to your ipod and jam along or just play it on your own. There's a place for headphones, but where's the fun in that? It comes with a small speaker and an instruction sheet that I can assure you will be ignored by the average gift recipient. Batteries are included, but you might want to buy a few extras to make sure that the recipient of your gift gets the maximum enjoyment out of it.
If you plan to buy this for yourself I suggest that it is a great office toy. Put it on your desk and people who come to you for advice will end up playing with it instead so you can get some work done. Ear plugs suggested. :)
