Customer Review: Prepare to Disappoint the kids

This rocket setup looks great in the pictures and on the box. It sets up easily and may work once or twice before you the the problems that the other reviewers mention.
Overall, the rocket appears to be well made, but you may have the same problems that I did: the fins loosely fit in the "gutters." On launch, the fins fly off which resulted in nozzle damage on a hard landing. Then I had the same problem as everyone else is complaining about - the rocket doesn't launch.
Steer clear.

This is just awesome! We bought it on sale for $[...] and were skeptical at first, but it has proven to be worth $[...] easy!
I did have some initial troubles once set up, but then realized I need to "click" the rocket into the base to build the pressure up. I must have pumped it about 500 times before I thought to adjust it.
After an afternoon of fun at a park with lots of open space and not many trees, we are ready to take it out again and again!

Bought this for a bday present for a "kid at heart". The nieces and nephews were really excited to see it. Launched it on the first sunny day we could. It does take about 140 to 150 pumps to pressurize, but we had all the kids count thier age in pumps. 4,9,10,7, 43,55.....and in no time it was up in flying. Great fun til it met a very pokey tree limb. We used the enclosed patch and are ready for further launching !Customer Review: Love our rocket ! !

Our son (4) loves this rocket. I got it on sale for about half of the retail price and it was worth it. My brother in law had to make a modification to it (don't ask me what... it was all technical, bunch of guys standing around for hours, etc.) to get it to where it fires every time without an issue but once that was done it works each and every time and we love it. :)Customer Review: This toy is terrible!

It is very expensive and doesn't work!! I contacted the company and they want me to purchase a whole bunch of new parts to see if that will make it work. They won't exchange the toy for a working one because they say they can't sell the useless one they sold me! Save your money and buy something that works.
