Customer Review: Great slide!

We bought this for my son's 4th birthday party and had 10 kids riding on it for a couple of hours. My son is 55 lbs. and was probably the biggest kid to ride, although I went on it twice (once with my daughter and once with my son), so it was tested at a load of about 290 lbs. total (both our weights combined). The slide held up great and exceeded expectations. I bought this particular slide because it offered the big slide for the adventurous kids, and it featured a smaller slide (about 6-7 feet long but at a gradual slope), along with a nice pool maybe 12" deep that kids could splash around in if they didn't want to go down either slide. It was a big hit with all the kids. I had read several reviews and was concerned about durability, but the slide looks very-well constructed and held up fine in every respect. Hopefully this will hold true for the rest of the year and beyond. While it does inflate in about 3 minutes, give yourself about an hour setting it up your first time so that you can scout out a good location and get everything rolled out and inspected, and also get the hose going so you get the pool filled up. I agree that it'd be nice if a way was found to retain the water without having to have the blower running the whole time. Maybe Banzai can work on that design. Perhaps have a fitting that could be attached to the blower and blow up the pool area, then have the rest of the slide supported by the blower. Anyway, I love the slide and absolutely recommend it. This slide is super fun. We purchased it a few weeks ago for my daughter's 6th birthday party. We had about 20 kids at the party and at least 10 were using the slide at the same time. It worked great and the kids had a blast. It is very sturdy and was easy to set up (at least my husband wasn't ranting so I assume it was pretty easy). We took advice from other reviews and got some foam floor padding at Home Depot for extra cushioning especially where the kids come off the slide. It also helps protect the bottom from any small rocks or sticks we missed under the slide. Make sure that you set this up where you have grass and NO DIRT. The kids get out and run around to get to the small slide and if there is any dirt in the area then you will end up with a mud pit. We also got one of the sponge mops to help clean the bottom once you deflate it. In no way will this thing ever get back into the carrying case or box. We are just leaving it out and inflating it when the kids want to use it again - which has been everyday that the sun is shining. I agree that drying this thing out and putting it away is not something we are looking forward to but seeing the kids face when they come down that slide is totally worth it. One last comment, we have a VERY ACTIVE 4 year old son and this is a great outlet for all that energy. I wish we bought this sooner!!!Customer Review: Great Fun!

This is an extremely fun toy. I have a 2 year old, 5 year old and 6 year old. All three love the slide and so do the neighbors as well. My wife has also gotten on the slide and enjoyed the fun a few times. I weigh a bit more then her and have not dared get on the slide yet. If you look at the promotional pictures of the slide and the happy faces believe me that it is really that fun.
Pros:
1. Great fun.
2. Seems pretty durable.
3. Fills with air very quickly.
4. Colorful.
5. Comes with plenty of repair patches.
6. Repair kit works!
7. Moderate water usage. Not much more then a sprinkler head while the water is running.
Cons:
1. Difficult to assemble or put away as one adult. Needs two to handle easily.
2. Does take a long time to dry.
3. Bulky. It does not fold back into anything the size that could fit in the included bag.
4. Customer support is non-existent. I emailed weeks ago with a question and no answer yet. Also I have called several times and the phone number has always been busy. Not good.
5. Pool takes an eternity to fill up if only used with the sprayers.
Another reviewer recommended storing in a plastic bucket. Not a bad idea. I use a 80 gallon Rubbermaid Seat and Store unit. This seems perfect.
Customer Review: POOR QUALITY SLIDE

After using this slide a total of 5 times, a rip started to form at the bottom of the big slide. We called the company and they told us that because we were within the warranty of 60 days, they would replace the slide. We sent in the necessary information to them and when we spoke to the representative again, she told us that the slide was on backorder. That was a month ago. We called the company again and their story now is that the slide will not be available until next summer and they could send us a slide that is much smaller and costs less than the one we bought that broke. Not acceptable. The slide is a lot of fun and we would love to have another one but the company doesn't seem to stand behind their products or care about customer satisfaction. After reading other reviews, I'll be curious to see if they relpace the slide. Again, the slide is a ton of fun but don't expect it to last very long.
Update.....the company sent us another slide but did not send us the hose that the water goes through. They had us cut out a portion of the old slide to send to them and didn't tell us that they wouldn't be sending the hose. Hopefully we can purchase it from then but I wish they let us know that they'd only be sending the blow up portion. Our fault for not asking, I guess.
Customer Review: This is a great product (2009 version)

I bought this for my 2yr Son and I to play with and he absolutely loves it. There seems to be lots of negative reviews of this project so I just want to make sure everyone knows that I've only owned mine for a week now. I decided to review it now because I feel that I already got my money's worth. I don't know what is different about the "2009 version" but I'm very pleased with it so far. As others have mentioned, it takes a long time to dry it off and pack it back up so that's the only drawback/negative thing I can say about it so don't attempt to set this up and only use it for an hour because it's going to take several hours just to put it back away.
As for durability it appears very strong. I can't tell how long it's going to last but I'm not too concerned about that because if the seams do split, I'll just repair it myself. The blower that comes with this unit is absolutely amazing. The product information says it takes less than 3 minutes to fill completely up but it seems like it really only takes less than 1 minute.
The pool holds lots of water and is quite fun just by itself. This is a very fun toy for kids and I'm glad we bought one. Hopefully it will last for awhile but I feel we already got our money's worth in the 1st week.
