Customer Review: Fun, and must for any Digimon fan

To start things off, I absolutely love digimon, so naturally, I wanted to snatch this up before it becomes extremely expensive like the older digivices. Initial setup took me a few minutes to figure out, but once it was up and running, I loved it immediately. It's a bit different from the previous digivices, in that it is much more interactive, and more can be done with your digimon. After you pick a digimon partner, you have to train, feed, and clean up after it; but you can also play mini games and fight your digimon to earn points to buy it food and other items which can use for battle or simply play with. Basically it's like a Tomagotchi, but you are able to do much more, and I think it is way more fun. As your digimon gets stronger, it is able to digivolve, but the great thing is (unlike the older digivices), it changes back to its rookie stage once a battle is over. Personally, I love this product, and even if your child knows little or nothing about digimon, I think they'll have a ton of fun with this regardless. One thing though, it says on the packaging "for ages 4 and up." I don't think a four year old would be able to figure this game out easily. Probably a better age would be more along the lines of eight, maybe even nine and above. Hope you enjoy this product as much as I did! Get them before they become collectors items!
