Customer Review: OK game; not as fun as bananagrams and pairs

Appletters involves creating a snake of words; players must build off the first or last letter of one of the words in play, and must use the letter as the first or last letter in the new word. The part that makes this game fun is that you can replace a word that someone has already put down if you have a word with more letters. Of the three (bananagrams, pairs in pears, appletters), appletters is the simplest and best for children. I am in my late twenties and found it a bit boring. Also, it takes a long time to play, so I recommend putting a time limit on each person's turn. Overall, it's an OK game, just a bit too simple for my tastes. I like bananagrams much better, but this is good if you are looking for an easier version.
