We bought this for our granddaughter over a year ago and it has provided a great place for her dollies to sleep ever since.
We bought it after reading reviews for it and similar items on amazon and got the idea it was a solidly built bargain. Thanks to accurate reviews, we took the plunge and saved some green. The bed was easy to assemble and has stood up well.
Bottom line? Buy it and know the dollies in your house will sleep well...

My 7 year old daughter asked Santa for this for Christmas. She has one American girl doll and two other 18" dolls. She loves it. It was the easiest thing I've ever put together for her on Christmas night! Only 8 simple screws, but it went together easily. The directions don't tell you this, but you should put a dab of glue into each hole where the dowels go for added stability. I bought the bunk beds for my daughters 3rd birthday. It has not only entertained her but also her 6yrs old sister too. It was very easy to put together, the instructions were plan and simple with all the pieces well labeled. My girls have enjoyed putting dolls of all sizes to sleep in this bunk bed. Bought this for my daughter to go with her American Girl doll for Christmas and it was a huge hit. The bed is very durable and easy to assemble. She plays with it all the time, very cute. The only complaint, although minor, is that I was hoping the pillow and mat were separate but they are sewn together. Again minor complaint but in case anyone else wondering. I purchased this bunk bed for my granduaghter's American Girl Dolls.
The construction seems very solid, but the bedding/blankets that come with the bed are very flimsy. I have purchased some doll quilts to put with it. Other than that it is a great little bed that I am sure she will love for her American Girl Dolls.
