Toys and Games Reviews of Baby Bach Touch and Play Pipes

Customer Review: A must for the child who loves music
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this for my son when he was 4 month old. At first he didn't know what to do with it at first, as usual. After a while he began to understand how it worked. I started asking him to play me some music, and he'd wiggle over to press the buttons. As he got older he would pass over songs he didn't particually care for. Before his 1 st birthday he had learn when to go back over to it before a song would finish so he could hear his favorite tune, and as usual passing over the ones he didn't take to. He's now 17 months old and he still insist on having it near by so he can hear his favorite tunes. Oh, did I mention that he dances to his favorite tunes as well. He liked it so much I had to buy a second one for Grandmom's house. It was a great extention to the toys he already had.

Customer Review: The creator of this is a genius!
Summary: 5 Stars

The Baby Einstein Baby Bach Touch and Play Pipes is an excellent toy. It is not loud and obnoxious as so many of the other musical toys. Once my daughter starts to interact with the pipes, it still continues to play and sound classical. It is so much fun to watch her play with it. It is light and compact, but still packs enough entertainment to satisfy the most antsy child. Even if we are having a hard time getting her down for a nap, we put the touch and play pipes in her crib and she plays herself to sleep. Once in a while, turn down the lights and play with it in the dark. It is amazing how her face lights up in excitement. This by far, has to be one of her favorite toys.

Customer Review: Speaker in wrong place
Summary: 5 Stars

My son is 28 mths but developmentally delayed and functions like an18 mth old, I also have a "normal" 3 mth old. Both children love the music, it's so calming. The older boy loves that he can turn it on and off himself and often plays with it when he feels stressed at the baby crying, however, the speaker is on the bottom of the toy so the music is muffled if placed on the couch or in our case, the futon. It's frustrating that it must go on a smooth service where the speakers are not touching anything to get the music clearly. Speakers should have been places on the top or sides of the toy, other than that it's great.

Customer Review: Buy the Bach toy; skip the Baby Bach DVD...
Summary: 5 Stars

Our son, almost 1 year old, received this as an early birthday gift. At first I thought he wasn't very interested in it, but after three days of playing with it, it's one of his favorite toys. He's mastered turning it on and off, as well as playing the pipes along with the tune. It's so refreshing to hear decent music coming from a toy - we're big fans of classical music and wish all toys could be this way. BTW, we also have the Baby Bach DVD - check out my review on that one - and this pipe toy is vastly superior and a much better value for the money. I highly, highly, recommend this toy.

Customer Review: GREAT TOY FOR CHILDREN TO GROW IN MUSICAL ABILITY
Summary: 5 Stars

In one mode of play, the toy plays eight different compositions by Bach that use the sounds of the pipes that light up while the child presses the pipes to play along with the composition and accompany it. In the second mode of play the child can compose their own music by pressing on the pipes and making them light up on their own in whatever combination they like. The toy comes with a CD that plays longer sections of Bach's music played by the toy and movies to run on your computer along with a printable play guide to help extend the play experience throughout the day.
