Toys and Games Reviews of BRIO Polar Express North PoleCustomer Review: Really great! Summary: 5 Stars
When I saw the picture of the North Pole set online, I was indifferent. It was cool and all, but I just wasn't very impressed.
Then my mom got the set for my son, and we all loved it right away! The tree makes a charming, whimsical sound as the star and lights light up. The compass is surprisingly detailed; Santa and the jingle bell car are pleasant bonuses.
Awesome addition to a wooden railroad!
Update: After a couple months, my son pulled the lid off the jingle bell box, and now it comes off pretty frequently. Other than that, we've had no problems so far.
Customer Review: Big success Summary: 5 Stars
I ordered the BRIO Polar Express North Pole and the Polar Express Train for my little nephew (3 years old) in the USA. The set was delivered quickly and very well packed and it's a big success. The items are happily presented to anyone approaching the house and taken to bed. The children love the switches for the lights etc. and the set is a great addition to the other BRIO stuff they have.
Customer Review: fun wtih the Polar express Summary: 5 Stars
My 3 year old son got this (and the other parts of the Polar Express Brio train) for Christmas. He is a HUGE fan of the movie and LOVES these toys. We have read the book so many times and seen the movie even more times that we set up the train and he runs the movie plot right there in the living room. Brio makes good quality stuff and even the price on Amazon seemed pretty reasonable!
Customer Review: nice addition for the polar express fan Summary: 4 Stars
My son, who is 4 years old, thinks this is great. He loves the Polar Express movie and enjoys playing with this North Pole station. It seems to be fairly durable, and the twinkling Christmas tree is very nice. My son likes to act the whole movie out, so he really needed the Santa Claus. It is a nice addition to your Polar Express set.
Customer Review: beware of price gouging! Summary: 3 Stars
At these prices, these aren't "toys"--you wouldn't dare let kids play with your valuable collection! I'm distressed to see Amazon offering an outlet for retailers charging exhorbitant prices for "hard to find" items of miniscule actual value. That's what auction sites are for!
