Toys and Games Reviews of Action figures 202 pieces with American, British, German & Japanese (WII) model 522Customer Review: Fun but somewhat fragile. Summary: 3 Stars
My son loves his new "army men." I must admit considering what is out on the market this is a fun set for him to play with. I like the different nationalities and the fact they're in different colors. I recommend the set for play, but was a bit dismayed that they are made out of a relatively fragile plastic so they are easily broken off stands if stepped on and small parts, such as German hand-grenades and rifle barrels, are easily broken. The set arrived with half a dozen or so broken parts already. Overall, the set is okay, and I only say that because of their lack of durability and price, which is a bit steep. But, as I said, my son loves them and plays with them.
Customer Review: 4 year old LOVES these little guys!! Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this bucket for my little boy and he totally loves them. He got them for Christmas this year and they are one of his very favorite toys. The only problem we have with them is that there are so many of them and he insists on tipping out the whole bucket and since they blend in with our carpet we have stood on them a few times (which really hurts) and unfortunately since they are just made out of plastic they break. He still has plenty more though!!!! We got some little die cast tanks to go with them and my son uses his imagination to create loads of little stories and adventures. Overall, a simple cheap toy that has given my son hours of entertainment.
Customer Review: WWII Action Figures. Summary: 5 Stars
My Grandson loves playing with Army Men and this set is perfect for him. He pits them all against each other on four "sides" American against the British against the Germans against the Japanese. He's not old enough to know there was only 2 "sides". Plays with them for hours and makes all the "war sounds"
Nothing to do with the product but shipping was super fast and we received them before Christmas even though the estimated delivery time was December 31st.
Customer Review: Inaccurate, flawed Summary: 2 Stars
All in all not bad.A good assortment, several models, more than the generic run of the mill green men. In my bucket though the Germans were dark green, the British were dark green not yellow, the Americans were gray, many were warped and weird looking. My son loved them, a nice addition to his collection. Do not buy for accuracy though. It was a bit over priced for the quality but I find plasic army men hard to find in store especial with the different sides.
Customer Review: Great!! Summary: 4 Stars
I remember seeing this at Longs and wanted it so bad. So, years later I was suprised to see the same thing, in different packaging at Rite Aid. They are more fun than most army men (because you can play WWII and different uniforms.) The British get guys with bagpipes to boost morale (or to anoy the crud out of the German grenadiers.) The Japanese get swordsmen and the Americans get pilots/paratrooper guys (with no parachute but they have machine guns.)
