Easy to inflate and the toys kept my 9-month old daughter busy. At first she was scared of the water like all the other babies at the beach. But when she saw the toys she forgot she was scared and was more than happy to go into this float.
I also felt comfortable because I was able to be right next to her and paddle her through the calm warm waters at Waikiki (we went to the beach with a protective shore breaker). She loved this float so much she screamed when I took her out of it for lunch.
The reason I didn't give it a perfect star rating was the plug became lose while she and I were in the water for a couple of hours. Thank goodness my husband noticed the plug came loose and told us to quickly get to the shallow end. I ended up carrying her and the float all the way back because it was too difficult to pull her out of the it when it became deflated. I felt that was dangerous and the manufacturer should have come up with a better protective system to prevent that from happening.
This didn't happen to us when we were only using it for a short period time. But when we stayed in the water for a long time, the plug came loose. Maybe it was just bad luck on my end, but I thought mention it. I still love this combo float but I'm just more cautious now.
