This tea set is TINY, even for my three-year-old grandbaby. The rivets that hold the handles onto the cups are beginning to RUST after a WEEK of pouring "tea" (water) into them. And we dry the cups with paper towels when we put them away. The paper is starting to peel off the suitcase. But the girl LOVES her tea set and has learned to pour without overflowing the cup (which is a challenge when the cup is so tiny). And she loves putting the set into it's carry case when it's clean-up time. Next time I buy a tea set, I'm going to make sure the dimensions and product specifications are clear before I spend a dime. Wow, I sound like a cranky old lady, but money is tight these days and I hate getting such low value for what I've spent.Customer Review: fun little tea set

This tea set is small as previous reviews mention. We purchased it for my child's first birthday and she's 19 months now. It is perfect for her. The size is small, but good for a toddler. She loves to carry her tea set around in the carrying case. She loves to get the pieces out and set up for a tea party with any one adult, child or doll. It's easy to transport to grandma's house or have a tea party outside. It's a very durable as cups get dropped (or thrown) at this age. It is also very easy to clean which is important too. I brought the Alex Tin Tea Set for my 3 year old daughter for Christmas.
She loves the tea set and it was her first set. I don't think she cares about the size or color, but just loves having tea parties with her dolls, mom and dad and other family members. The tea set is small, but it has a cute design and I like the fact that it's tin. That way she can't break it like other sets that aren't tin. I looked at many tea sets deciding which to get her for Christmas and many were small like this set, but not nearly as cute and long lasting. I was very happy with the set and my daughter seems to be too.

Alright, so I expected this tea set to be small, but not this For 19 dollars, this is junk. Plain and simple. Not at all worth the price. The case is cardboard, very crappy quality. Sure, it's "cute" and has a case, but SO WHAT!!! If you have to take out a magnifying glass just to see the teaset, then it is not worth it. Ughh, they should specify that this is a miniature- miniature tea set. I think it's even too small for a tiny baby!!! LOL. Very dissappointed. If anyone knows of a tea set for little girls that is a decent size PLEASE let me know!!Customer Review: Adorable but VERY SMALL

I had read the previous reviews and have looked for a tea set for my 2 girls (3.5, 1.5 yrs) for a while. This set is ADORABLE...and I didn't want to believe the other posts, but it is REALLY small! In the cups, maybe a tbs. or 2 will fit. I guess it could be good because the mess they make can't be big- but I am a bit disappointed with the size. If it were twice the size, it would be PERFECT!
