This tea set is small as previous reviews mention. We purchased it for my child's first birthday and she's 19 months now. It is perfect for her. The size is small, but good for a toddler. She loves to carry her tea set around in the carrying case. She loves to get the pieces out and set up for a tea party with any one adult, child or doll. It's easy to transport to grandma's house or have a tea party outside. It's a very durable as cups get dropped (or thrown) at this age. It is also very easy to clean which is important too. Several of her friend have ordered this set after playing with hers. It's a nice, small, transportable tea set.
